These terms govern your use of the Call Memory mobile application ("the app"), published by Hugo Software ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
The app
Call Memory is a personal note-taking tool for your phone calls. You write short notes after a call, attach them to people you add yourself, and set follow-up reminders. It is not a call recorder, a CRM, or a contact-syncing service.
Cost
This version of the app is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.
If paid features are introduced in a future version, they will be clearly presented before any charge, and any purchase will be handled by Google Play under Google's own terms.
Your content
Everything you write remains yours. It is stored on your device and we never receive a copy, so we claim no rights over it and take no responsibility for its contents.
Backups are your responsibility
Because your notes exist only on your device, they will be permanently lost if you uninstall the app, clear the app's data, or lose or reset the device. We cannot recover them. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to store material that is unlawful, or to record or note information about other people in a way that breaks the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for complying with local rules about recording, storing, and processing information about other people.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always appear at the intended moment. Do not rely on it as the sole system for legally or commercially critical obligations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app or these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version is always on this page.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
